   *Thomas of Vintnar: Half-Elf, aged 182.  Divine Champion of Mercy.  Thomas is a kind, patient man who has been an adventurer for a LONG time.  Currently on a personal journey to visit the graves of old friends who fell along the way, return certain souvenirs from whence he found them, and to do a little good along the way.  While his father was a Desert Elf, he only inherited heightened awareness form that side: everything else he does is pure combat skill and channeling the power of his Goddess.  He is accompanied by his blue chocobo, Azul, and a Slumbering Era Elven hunting bow named Silent Ending (Dínen Mentë).

   *Count Bois: aka Gerald Bois, current sovereign of Boisnoir County. A human in his late forties with one wife, one concubar, and four children. An overworked, yet fair ruler. Like his father before him, he doesn't really think his fiefdom qualifies as a “kingdom”.
   *Darring: Human male, late forties.  Priest of the Road God.  Had a short adventuring career before **Higher Powers** instructed him to settle on the Trade Road.  Acts as the Voice Of Experience when it comes to //Weird Stuff//.
