====Old Goldenrod====
The former territory of Duke Ares Goldenrod, who, forty-eight years ago, chose exile over inexorable destruction at the hands of his political enemies, and took a good chunk of his duchy's population with him to what is now [[Fort Goldenrod]] in the [[Fallow Marches]].  Near the [[Castella River]] and [[Kingsfell]] the land is largely abandoned.  Deeper in, and towards [[House Sorland]] claimed territory, minor lords and warlords seek to hold and increase their power.
