Sophie is a largish harpy female of middle years. Her feathers are a striking male bluejay pattern, in soft pink pastels. Her figure can charitably be described as exhibiting "middle age spread".

Sophie in her youth served a minor Elven noble in House Glamourous territory as a singer, but was released from service once her daughters were old enough to fill her position. One of [[Erlich]]'s adventuring companions convinced her to move out to the freehold where she could enjoy a reasonably fulfilling life.

Sophie's primary job is as [[Toadwort]]'s only permanent subordinate in the [[Digglett's Bluff]] watch: her flight endurance is just sufficient to make it to town with an emergency message. The villagers depend on her and her Charm abilities to keep her superior soothed, and to look after the village's younger children while their parents are working.
