Jehenna is a 7' Gnoll warrior who was born and raised in one of the southern cities of the Hazad Caliphate. She was well on her way to becoming a goon for a district crime boss when she attempted, and failed, to mug her future mentor, Pippin. (Langolier is a really cool chain-mace, if you ignore the mocking laughter.)
After some comedy, and most of the Organization in need of medical care, an arrangement was made: Pippin would keep Jehenna, and the beatings would not continue. One unpleasant sea voyage later, and the pair was at the Asterian Empire chapterhouse of the Holy Order of the Shoushou Knights. Grandmaster Oso found Jehenna cute.
The order has two primary goals: bind demons into weapons so they can't get into any further mischief (either immediate, or after a future summoning), and to use the power of the bound demons to genuinely help people. Rehabilitation is a distant third, possibly below “use demon weapons to open coconuts”.
Jehenna, after years of training, became the third guardian of “Priscilla”, an impressive looking bardiche containing a prissy and over-civilized demoness, who, as things go, is further along the redemption path than most. She was then sent out into the world to “do good”, and warned not to come back with an apprentice for at least five years. That was last Harvestmath.
Her “partial possession” form is pretty much the 10' tall Gnollish version of Lady Dimetrescu: black shadowy formal evening wear, long gloves, stylish hat, foot long claws, and the Shoushou third eye set provocatively at the top of her sternum. Jehenna refuses to discuss what “full possession” is like.
