Gragnano is a town in the Asterian Empire in the Eastern Sors region, located halfway between the cities of Overgard and West Rivel. The county is known for a superior breed of wheat, a dark beer, and purportedly, as the birthplace of Asterian noodle-making. As such, one of the high temples of the Goddess of the Golden Sheaf can be found here.

Little has changed in Gragnano in the last thousand years, even with the political changeover in the region. Count Gragnano is actually of House Doujin blood, which insulates him from the tempers of his immediate supervisors.

Gragnano has a permanent population of nearly seven hundred, with one hundred or more religious novices and novice noodle-makers. Racially, the town has a slightly lower human percentage than average for the empire, largely thanks to the transient population.
