Lynne's Hall is a community in the Fallow Marches in the vicinity of Fort Sinister. Physically, the entire community is housed in a single Elven warehouse or mead hall with an internal floor area exceeding one acre.
The Hall is located in the Camwood approximately eight miles east of Fort Sinister. It also happens to be along the long overgrown Elven war-road that once led to the Dakan nation, and specifically the Duskenvale. That last bit is not common knowledge to the residents.
Currently little is known about the site during House Glamourous' tenure governing the area, and aside from the Hall itself, no other ruins exist in the vicinity save for some tree-disrupted foundations.
After the founding of Fort Sinister, the structure was used on and off as a shelter by hunters, trappers, and adventurers passing through the area. One such individual, Lynne the Reaper, concluded that with a little work, the Hall could become a profitable hunter's lodge. Ten years ago, having secured resources and a House Corundum Elven husband, she set about to do just that.
Lynne's hall is home to twenty permanent residents, and serves as home base for as many as three hundred hunters and trappers, depending on season. The racial mix is highly fluid.
Lynne and her group provide the sort of amenities you'd expect from a classic frontier mining town: clean beds, laundry, hot food, Tanning Guild buyers, equipment, field supplies, and purchasable services of bedmates of negotiable virtue. Prices are a bit high, considering it is only a day's hike to the Fort, but Lynne's clientele tends towards the introverted side, and doesn't complain.
