Flan: a vaguely conical creature of some corrosive gelatinous material that moves slowly and uses elemental magical blasts to bring down its prey. Highly resistant to physical attacks, nearly immune to magical attacks of their own element. It is unknown how, or if they reproduce. Generally found in pre-Imperial era ruins. Transport in stone or metal boxes: they have been observed to ooze through cages with grids as fine as mosquito netting.
