Vampires: The undead incarnation of Pride. The vampire refuses to accept that death could have happened to them, and continues on by stealing life from the living. When a vampire sucks your blood, it isn't really what he is taking: he's feeding upon your remaining lifetime. Your average vampire bears a frustrating similarity to a House Nogrog Elf.
Viper-bat: Cave dwelling venomous serpents with bat wings, usually 4-6' in length. Hunt by body heat, their venom is a fast-acting paralytic renown for leaving people in comedic poses.
Vroomba: A perfectly circular relative of a horseshoe crab, about the size of a medium shield or a manhole cover. Normally found in shallow coastal areas, doing ordinary crab things. On land, they move with extraordinary speed, and don't particularly care about any obstacle they can knock over, up to the size of a cow. Popular uses involve racing, alchemical research, and of course, shield manufacture.
