Dark Knight: If you have a master necromancer, a semi-willing spirit, and a good suit of plate armor, you can put together a Dark Knight. Unlike Zeoreimers, these undead are somewhat articulate, and highly competent melee combatants. They also don't eat, sleep drink, party, get distracted by pretty girls, or otherwise lose track of their duty at guarding someone.

Gulden A good sized town in North-Eastern Asteria at the point where the Rivan River feeds into the Aster River. Guilden is economically more stable the Overgard, though this is tested by an uptick in the river-pirate population. Count Gulden-Sornalns is technically subordinate to Earl Alaric Sorland-Gribbel, but has a lot of contacts, and political friends, outside of Eastern Sors.

Ashlands The general term for the region between the Pillar of Luminar and Gloamingdale Wraith. The area gets its name because of two factors. First, due to geography and Elven interference, it is generally downwind of Thrall’s Gate Hall. Secondmost, there is a collective belief, growing stronger the further north you go, that only natural (ash-gray Eastwalls) stone construction will keep out the horrors of the Dells.
