 The Blackstone Freeholding, deep in the [[Fallow marches]], is largely set along the fertile Iarven-sírë river valley, starting where it merges with the larger Gonglin River.  The local geography is dominated by temperate forests and low hills.  The primary connection to larger communities involves the eastern branch of Old Trade Road, the direct overland route between the Asterian Empire and the Yamato Shogunate.
