+**Pricklesnake**: A venomous, spiny serpent.  When threatened by predators, they raise their spines perpendicular to their body much like a pufferfish.
 **Pyrefly**: An itty-bitty phoenix the size of a bumblebee.  Largely harmless to people, they generally live in marshlands, and amuse themselves by igniting pockets of marsh-gasses.  They can be trained, and respond well to familiar-bonding magics.  The issue with pyreflies is breeding season, when the males start setting large fires to attract mates.  Thatch roofs are a popular target.
