Peikko: a shaggy, cold adapted species of hobgoblin, used as a servitor race by the Polar Lords. Peikkos are used as brute laborers and shock troops by their masters.
Pig: Another “crop” animal, though no one milks them. Asterians use them in truffle hunting. Voted most likely to be banned by the Gods, but usually just by the ones opposed to healing magic. Closely related to boars.
Poultrilisk: variant basilisk species. Cranky venomous reptile the size of a crocodile whose gaze turns you into your weight in chickens. At least two duchies in the Asterian Empire are known to use them as a form of capital punishment: the community may as well get some benefit from the accused. Note: you do need all the chickens to undo the curse.
Pricklesnake: A venomous, spiny serpent. When threatened by predators, they raise their spines perpendicular to their body much like a pufferfish.
Pyrefly: An itty-bitty phoenix the size of a bumblebee. Largely harmless to people, they generally live in marshlands, and amuse themselves by igniting pockets of marsh-gasses. They can be trained, and respond well to familiar-bonding magics. The issue with pyreflies is breeding season, when the males start setting large fires to attract mates. Thatch roofs are a popular target.
