Dawnbalm is a temperate zone forest herb. It grows best in shaded, moist, and somewhat acidic conditions. It can be cultivated, but the wild varieties are generally considered superior.
Dawnbalm’s primary use is in the relief of menstrual cramps and related issues. Secondarily, it is popular as a “day after” pregnancy preventative. Potted versions can frequently be found in traveler's inns and most temples operated by priestesses.
