kringstone
The Kringstone is a landmark in the central Plains of Kring. Literally a cubic kilometer of granite that the gods appear to have casually dropped in the middle of the grasslands, much like Ayer's Rock in Australia, just with a little less weathering. The permanent settlement of Moonwind Gather can be found south of here.
Ever since the last Mongrel invasions, the shamans of the Kring tribes have put considerable effort into getting the spirit of the Kringstone to like their peoples, in hopes that they can literally mobilize it like a Celestial Elemental Avatar the next time armies march upon them.
