Twilight of Empires

The former territory of Duke Ares Goldenrod, who, forty-eight years ago, chose exile over inexorable destruction at the hands of his political enemies, and took a good chunk of his duchy's population with him to what is now Fort Goldenrod in the Fallow Marches. Near the Castella River and Kingsfell the land is largely abandoned. Deeper in, and towards House Sorland claimed territory, minor lords and warlords seek to hold and increase their power.
