Qasar: Originally a creature found only in Caliphate regions, they have spread over much of the known world. A large quadrupedal reptile, about the size of a wyvern, possessed of a strong Light affiliation. Qasar lair up during the day, or bury themselves in the sand, as they have the peculiar trait that for them, “down” is towards the sun. They are generally as antisocial as drakes, but with a higher exotic energy output.
Qiongqi: a winged tiger found in the mountains north of the Mandarinate. No other exotic abilities: most people find flying tigers terrifying enough for their tastes.
Quadrupus, Hermit: a cephalopod found in many coastal regions, the seas of the Madarinate, and oddly enough, the Lake of Dreams. These amphibious four-limbed creatures range between the size of an acorn to that of a walnut, and wear the discarded shells of other creatures when venturing on land. The quadrupuses of the Lake have to settle for nut shells. Many creatures, including people find them tasty.
