Twilight of Empires

Name: Beatrix Lightfoot

Age: 44
Race: Halveling
Height: 3’ 6”

• Trixy grew up in southern Philli, a more Germanic themed small nation in the northner Anyube River region. This hilly, wooded, back-country part of the nation sports a more Bavarian culture, and has a fairly high goblin subspecies population.
• Trixy's parents ran the town tavern.
• Beatrix. Meaning “voyager” or “blessed,” Beatrix is often associated with intelligence, independence, and resilience. The X ending adds a trendy and playful note to this cool German girls’ name.
• Was being courted by the Captain in the light cavalry. Maxi Prowdfoot is a hero to the village, but he is bored with his peaceful life after returning from the war. Maxi pursued Beatrix, determined to marry her, as she is the most beautiful girl in the village and thus the only one good enough for him. Think Gaston from the animated Beauty and the Beast.
• Out of desperation she a her Direwolf, Schneeball, left town in the middle of the night after bidding her parents goodbye. She keeps moving in fear the Maxi is still hunting as a wife.
• She was blessed at an early age by one of the less-than-sober divine servants of the Goddess of the Golden Sheaf, probably Whinsk. She is not a Divine Champion: that implies a lot more oversight by her divine patron. Odds are good Whinsk cured her of some dread childhood affliction while patronizing her parents tavern, and doesn't even remember the incident.
• Schneeball is a member of the domestic breed of the Philli hill Direwolf species. And while a 200 pound wolf strong enough to carry sixty pounds of rider and gear long distances is by no means harmless, he was neither bred nor trained for serious combat. That said, like Va'retha's Dusty, he has been living the adventurer lifestyle since Spring.
