Twilight of Empires

A Spirit House is the general term for any object crafted to house an elemental or natural spirit. Most modern ones are functionally Pokeballs, a place for your spirit to hang out in between activity scenes, thus preserving their contracted witch or shaman's energies. In antiquity, techniques existed to bind a spirit to a specific task, creating a self-powered enchanted item. The shower heads in Grandpear's Basement were examples of this technique.

Mechanically, a Spirit House allows the summoner to verbally provide instruction to their spirit at unreasonable distances and under combat conditions. (Mind link, requires incantations) This is equipment, not requiring a purchase on the character sheet.
