Woodshade
Woodshade is the capital town of Witchfel, locates at the southern end of Lake Aloches where Spritesong River emerges, leading to the Castella River. The town is dominated by a massive, spiritually active, tree on the east side, which has the palace and most government buildings integrated into it in some way.
Population
Woodshade sports a population of around twenty-five thousand, with a similar species mix as the rest of the country. This includes around 180 dwarves attached in some way to the Thrall's Gate Hall embassy and trade delegations.
NPCs of Note
- Harmony: The proprietor of Harmony House, an in favored by visiting mercenaries, on the west side of the town. Harmony herself is the inn: specifically, she is an elder House Mimic. She is friendly, and a well respected member of the community. If pressed, she will describe herself as an aunt to Isabel the Princess Tower Mimic.
- Timz: Harmony's current husband, a middle-aged True Goblin. Modern humans might call him autistic. He serves the government as the chief accountant.
