Zeoreimer: Originally, a suit of Yamato Ō-yoroi armor that was possessed by multiple spirits of the owner's victims whose individual wills were insufficient to rise as a Revenant. The zeoreimer then goes off to try to kill the culprit, their family and clan, and then loses focus and just murders anyone it encounters. Today the phenomenon has spread throughout the civilized world.
Zipkhat: Resembling a large black house-cat, these solitary predators routinely bring down prey the size of sheep or pigs. Possessed of out-sized claws, their mouths open both horizontally and vertically, revealing four jaws covered in pointy teeth, and two long sinuous tongues. They also can become imperceptible to all targeting or semi-targeting senses of its primary target. This includes echolocation, empathy, and a warrior's Bloodlust Awareness.
Zombie, Air: Your typical undead contagious zombie, except that it is perfectly transparent. Fortunately, they still make noise, and more importantly, can be smelled.
Zombie, Parasitic: Resembles a normal zombie, except that it has the head of a one-eyed eel looking creature protruding from it's shoulder. Technically alive, the parasite has taken over the host's body and will nurture its eggs in the stomach. It if can catch an animal the size of a goblin or larger, it will attempt it inject one of it's young into the victim.
Zombie, Undead: Shambling dead people or animals infused by necromantic energies. Frequently the result of apprentice necromancers or local curses. Singly, not a great threat to an attentive adult, they become more of a challenge in large groups. The cursed ones are, of course, contagious.
Zombie, Undead (Greater): a higher end form of undead, always manufactured, usually by a necromancer of considerable power but insufficient training. A greater zombie is sturdier and more decay resistant than the common variety, and is normally made from a higher quality corpse. (Cause of death: zombification ritual, is not unheard of.) With this much power, the creator usually sneaks in several upgrades: strength, intelligence, living appearance, and so forth. Unfortunately, greater zombies attract evil spirits, whose first order of business frequently is to delete anyone capable of stopping them, such as the creator.
