The Spire of Mirabel
The spire is an Elven ruin located approximately seven miles north of the town of NewHaven in the Blackstone Freeholding. Ten expansive stories tall, this graceful stone cylinder is set atop a rocky hill among overgrown groves of decorative flowering trees. While the tower is surprisingly intact, the supporting village around the base of the hill is all but lost to the Camwood. A footpath nearby connects the communities of Digglett's Bluff and Woodhurst.
A broad, sweeping staircase connects the floors, circling around the outer perimeter of the spire, while comfortable galleries of seats, lounges, and refreshment facilities can be found on each of the ten floors. The stage is a circular area on the ground floor, with a backstage occupying the back third of the spire. Theater operations were handled below ground.
The special nature of the spire is only revealed when a person enters the central area of the tower, on any floor. At that point, the magics of House Glamourous will recreate the final performance of the Players of Mirabel: the epic of King Regis the First and the Giant Queen. In it's entirety. For two whole days, with only pauses for intermissions and meal breaks. No one knows how to stop the performance once it has begun, and the Blackstone Company once triggered it four times in a row to see if the tower's magical reserves could be exhausted, to no avail.
History
The Spire of Mirabel dates back to the height of the region's occupancy by House Glamourous of the Elven Principalities, possibly as far back as the beginning of the Imperial Era. The fame of the Spire, and the attendant illusion-crafting theater troupe, spread throughout the civilized world.
The Spire was abandoned five hundred years ago when the region was traded to House Stellar. There is no record of the lost Elven house ever using the tower, and it has remained abandoned to this day.
